Context :

The POLYREY factory manufactures laminated panels from resins impregnated on paper.

 

Green Resines Project :

Replacing part of the phenol, currently used as a raw material, with lignin.

 

Project Challenges :

 

. Reduce the level of industrial risk by reducing phenol supplies,

. Reduce the environmental impact and enhance the manufacturing process thanks to lignin,

. Compensate for the sharp rise in the price of oil-based MPs,

. Optimize the process.

 

INGENICA Engineering Services : Preliminary APS study

 

. Study of the new process from the supply of Raw Materials to the storage of Finished Products:

. PFD, Material and utility balances, Pre-sizing of main equipment,

. Definition of a powder package for the introduction of lignin

. Validation of a preliminary layout (2D plans and 3D model) according to 2 scenarios

. Studies for all trades: General Installation, EIA, GC, Metallic structure, demolition,

. Investment estimate at +/- 20%, Development of the investment schedule
